Key West Chicken Wings and Packer Fans in the Florida Keys!

Having spent 15 years of my life living in Wisconsin, being a Packer fan just grew on me.

It was cool seeing the Green Bay Packer flag proudly displayed at the Florida Keys Dive Center!


Football fan or not, make Super Bowl Sunday Febuary 6th 2011 an excuse for "SUNDAY FUN" by making these awesome Key West Chicken wings for your friends and family!

Key West Chicken Wings


• ¾ cup crush pineapple with juice
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
• ¼ sweet chili sauce
• ¼ crush ginger
• 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
• 1/4 cup honey
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 lbs chicken wings, drummettes (about 24)

Directions:
Prep Time: 20 Minutes(Island Time)
Total Time: 1 1/4 hr

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil and lightly spray with an aerosol cooking spray.

In a 1-quart saucepan, heat all ingredients except chicken to boiling, stirring occasionally. Place chicken in pan; pour sauce over chicken.

Bake uncovered about 1 hour, turning chicken 2 or 3 times, until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (180 degrees). .

Get the drinks ready because the wings are ready!

Looks like a great recipe. I wonder how they would taste if you friend the wings and then basted them in this sauce.
